Osman and Baines called up to England

Well guys, our midfield maestro Leon Osman has earned his first England international appearance.  At 31 years of age, after seasons of solid performances for Everton, I think it's a bit past due.  Together with Leighton Baines, Everton left fullback, Osman and England took on Sweden  on Wednesday, November 14.  Osman forced Sweden's goalkeeper to save a shot early on in the game, but it unfortunately wasn't enough as the Three Lions lost 4 to 2, thanks to four goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paris Saint-Germain star.
The outcome puts more doubt on England's ability to perform in international soccer, but with Everton players like Jagielka, Baines, and Osman getting more playing time, maybe the Three Lions will rise in the ranks of international teams.  At any rate, it gives us Evertonians some bragging rights, since we now feature at least three English Internationals!  Come on You Blues! COYB!
